Just started reading Matched by Ally Condie. I plan on reading both of the books out so far (not sure if its a series or if Crossed is just a sequel). So far, its kept my attention. I've developed quite a love for dystopian societies as of late. I will say that this one is a lot different because she reveals information about her world so peculiarly, as if everything were cold and factual, and she tells things slowly. Not at first mention but after you've heard about something once or twice. I love it though. Its amazing how many possible dystopian Americas there are in the future.

I loved the series! I read Crossed the day before I read Divergent, actually. And yes, it is a series. I believe it's a trilogy. I'm glad you enjoy it.

Awesome! I finished Crossed earlier today and it was lovely. I can't wait to get started on Crossed.

I loved those books. I can't wait until the final book comes out. I want to know what happens, haha. Luckily I've got so many more books to read in the mean time

Yes, I just started Crossed and I just want to sit down and read through the whole thing but I have a ton of other things to do tonight so I can't which bites. And I won't really have time until Tuesday to read again. The suspense will destroy me. Hopefully I can get through everything tonight and still have time before I get too tired and crash. But goodness, I do love these books, they are just so wonderfully done.

Grrr. At least there are other books to keep us occupied until those come out though. There's always something to look forward to. We always have something to read, the endless list.

Very, very true. I don't know what I'd do if that was not the case

Yeah, now I'm going to have to wait to finish Crossed because my mom read Matched last night and then took Crossed to read but I hadn't finished it yet. Oh well, I said she could read them. I just wish she had waited until I was almost done with Crossed to start. Hopefully she won't spoil anything from me since I didn't the Hunger Games for her.

Yeah, but I love her reading books that I've read so that we can fangirl together. And she's loved all the books I've had her read recently. She was like...what's next? I've had her read The Hunger Games and Divergent. She loved them so I recommended those at well. I didn't realize she would finish Matched before I finished Crossed. But oh well.

That's awesome that you share the same book taste. So far my mom's only Twilight and won't read Harry Potter or anything else and I'm like... *twitch*

She usually resists reading what I suggest at first because she has other things to do but recently, she's started listening to me more and reading whatever I've just read which is awesome. Until she starts taking the next book in the series before I've finished it. Haha, I still haven't gone and finished Crossed yet but I really need to. Perhaps after I clean tomorrow, I get through the the rest of that book and finally find out what happens. Oh goodness, that's awful. I got my mom into Twilight at first but she does want to read Harry Potter. She just always has something else she's reading or what's to read more. Since she reads a lot of other good books, I let it go.
