In regards to this post: facaded.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=feedback&thread=1320&page=1#9582Majority rules, and you guys have voted to speed up the time passage here. Your options are above, but I'll detail them out a bit more below. The options above are only two, BUT if you like neither, you can reply to this post with your idea. 4 months in real life = 1 RP year. Meaning one month per season. 6 months in real life = 1 RP year. Meaning roughly a month and a half per season. Have a different idea? Post below! We need your feedback -- this is your RP, remember, so PLEASE vote and comment below to share your thoughts on the matter.

I'm cool with time passing the way it is now. Not only do I want to get the most out of my characters and cram as much stuff as i can within a year, but i also work a great deal. i really don't want the game to fly past me :\

So far the majority is voting for speeding it up to six months. That's not too bad. It means the next Choosing would be February 1st. That's a long time from now.

All right, the poll is locked. As you can see, the majority voted for speeding up the RP to six months. Meaning that one RP year will take place in six months of real time. So August 1st in the roleplay will be February 1st our time. I think that's a fair speed-up. It's not too fast, but a good enough speed that we won't get too bored. So be sure to check the sidebar for the current in-RP setting. The months will be different from ours. For example, today is the fifteenth of August for us, so it will be early September for the RP Thanks for your vote, guys

While I like the idea of speeding up, I'm scared for when a lot of us go back to school.

All right, I read the skype chat about it from last night, and here's what I have to say.
It would have been a lot less of a headache for Jess and I if you all had voiced those concerns before voting this in. It can be taken away if that's what the majority wants. It just would have been a whole lot less of a mess if this was brought up BEFORE everyone voted and the change was implemented. I'm just really disappointed that a lot of you guys have suddenly changed your mind and are voicing concerns after when it would have been easier to do it before.
So what now? Do I create another poll to see if people want a speed up? Or do we try this out to see how it goes? Changes take time to adjust to.

It's more like I'd like to try it, but I'm wary of it. That's all. I have concerns but I still think trying it out is a good job.

I think it's best if we try it. It could work. Plus for those of us with fifteen year olds, do we want to wait while out characters sit around for a year waiting to Choose? That was a big reason behind the speed up. I mean, this is what you guys voted on. SOme voted to speed it up to four months. Six months sounds fair. I mean, we won't know until we try, so let's just try.
And for those worried about Initiation posts, you can still RP them as if it's still August. I remember I was still rping some winter posts in the spring and etc. It doesn't affect anything that way.

Okay. (: That sounds good. It's just confused me for the most part. xD I'm like whoa...it's September, what do I do? But anyway, we'll try it out. and hopefully it works for us!
I'm all for the 15 year olds being able to choose earlier, but that means we have work to do! (:

Plus right now it seems like it's moving so much faster, and I mean, it is. It's moving 100% faster than it used to. And the jump from August to September seems like a large one, but once we get used to it, it could just work.
