Facaded.
Abnegation - The Selfless
Amity - The Peaceful
Candor - The Honest
Dauntless - The Brave
Erudite - The Knowledgable
Factionless - The Failures
Divergent - The Different
In a post-apocalyptic dystopian society located in New Chicago...
The Abnegation have just paved the roads in the inner city. Some of your characters are in school together, while others are either current faction initiates, have passed their initations, or are factionless.
So what happens when you throw together teenagers from five different factions, each with their own view on what is important? Probably just some teenaged angst, hormones, and drama, right?
Not quite.
In a post-apocalyptic future, after natural disasters and war have destroyed most of our Earth...
Place: New Chicago, Old North America
Plot:
In an alternative plot, in which Tris and her friends don't exist, whispers are travelling throughout the Factionless Area. They say the Factionless are on the uprise. They say they're targetting teenagers before they turn 16 to join the movement. They say things are changing, and dark times are approaching the factions.
Meet O:FF - Operation Faction Freedom. Run by some determined factionless members who are sick of the way they're treated. Their goal? To overthrow the current government and get rid of the 'Faction before Family' mantra. Their ultimate goal is right there in their name: freedom from the factions. But they are small and few. They need more members and support before they can even try anything. But that won't crush their spirit.
So here's a thought: are your characters safe? Will they join the movement? Do they even know about it? And what will happen when the uprising happens? Will the factions stand together: Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless, Erudite, working together as one to protect their new world? Or will some stray to join the Factionless?
And what about the government itself? Who will protect them?
Meet The Squad: An elite group of trained guards to protect the government and sniff out possible rebels. Their sole purpose in life is to protect the New Chicago factions at all costs. This means ruthless murders, espionage, anti-Divergents, and double-lives. They are dangerous, but would they expect the Factionless to be capable of revolt?
Of course there is still the teen drama, forbidden romances, school stress, and everything else that comes with being a human being; however, Facaded is no longer just a question of which faction your character best fits into. New Chicago is coming to face much, much more than that.
So where does your character stand in all this?
You decide.
You decide.
