Okay guys, so here's the deal.
Jess and I were discussing, and we think it would be a lot better for the roleplay to have time pass quicker.
Meaning instead of time passing in real time (meaning a whole year in-RP will pass by at the same speed as a whole year in real life), time will pass quicker in the RP.
We feel this will help move plots along a lot quicker -- people with characters fifteen years old and younger, do you really want to wait until August 2013 for your character's Choosing Ceremony??
So check out the poll above, and let us know in the comments about your thoughts on this matter. If you choose 'yes' in the above poll, please post below with how long you think a year in-RP should last.
Three months? Four months? Six months?

I say, that perhaps we speed it up 2x. Every two weeks is a month, every day equals two days, etc etc.

So you six months irl is one year in-RP? I feel that might be too slow.
I'm thinking four months. So like each month is a season. But what do you guys think?

I'd prefer it sped up to a few months at least, because Mason will never get to go to his choosing ceremony xD

I'm not down for speeding time up. Real time is just more forgiving, especially since I work a good portion of the week. That and I just don't want my characters to grow up fast. I'd really hate for Kazu to suddenly become 30 after a year.

I think this is a pretty good idea... and I like Courtney's proposed time speed of a season per month, so a total of one RP every 4 months. It seemed logical, and well paced. [now I just have to resolve to try to be on more often...]

I say every six months, because like Hayley pointed out, the time would get to some characters. But i would also like the time to speed up just slightly. It makes more sense.

Looks like it's between every four months and every six months. Stew on the idea for a bit, and when I come back from vacay, I'll put up another poll where can vote on the time. Majority rules.

Majority voted to speed up the time. Check out the poll to vote for how much we should speed it up by!
