I made this thread for an obvious purpose. /lol But actually I am having a hard time looking for new books to read, I am almost running out. But hence everybody can recommend something in here for everyone to read, do make a little statement on why you are recommending this one but no spoilers. ENJOY!

So like, I think you should all read this book called Divergent. I don't know. I heard it was maybe kind of good?
Haha just kidding. Legend by Marie Lu. It came out in November and I'm reading it and I love it already. It's a dystopia, so... read it! Haha

The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare! Unless, of course, you've already read them... In which case, check out The Infernal Devices by the same author Fantastic series, both of them! Also, the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. However, don't go into this one without a commitment, because there's currently 13 books, (with a 14th coming out soon) estimating to about 11,000 pages. (Four million words!) Definitely one of the largest book series I've ever read, and the last one isn't even out yet.

I checked that TMI, because everyone is like following it up to Hunger Games and Divergent. Then I go to goodreads to find some review, everyone is like hating. I don't know why, but that kinda just decreased my want to read it. ... I really mostly depend on good reviews when I read some books. @courtney: Hahaha how long is that? I'm currently having like 15 books in line, and their sequels are not part of it yet. My god xD

I personally read TMI before I read the Hunger Games and Divergent, and I absolutely adored it. I wouldn't rely on reviews too much, considering everyone has different opinions of what makes a book "good." But honestly, I think if you like novels like Divergent, THG, etc, then you'll like TMI! I mean, it isn't dystopian, but it's still absolutely fantastic. Sexy boys and girls fighting demons and falling in love, yes please.

I definitely don't read other's opinions on books because my opinions are my own. If someone recommends me a book, I look it up and see what I think. But if I want to read a book and someone says "ew that sucked" I'll still read it. I just don't trust others' opinions. I don't want to miss out on a good book, haha.
@lure: Oh man, Last time I counted I was at 83, but I've added so many more since then

@courtney, Omygod. I want to take a peek on that list of yours. Yum. @crys: Really? Then I'll trust you woman, Imma go add it to my list. But I also found a book, it's a dystopian for sure, but it's about languages. It's like only who knows english goes here, and who knows chinese goes here. Nobody should know else's language. I wish I put that book on my to read list. :\ Do you happen to know it?

Well, here Recommend: Wither Short review: It's exceptionally good but the plot and culture might shock you. That is all.

Which Wither? Because I think I've seen two. Or I'm just dumb, but you know... Haha
I recommend: Legend by Marie Lu. It's a really good dystopian fiction. It's pretty different than the others I've read. Meaning it's more inner city than elsewhere. The main character is a BA female, but she's like a soldier. Her brother gets murdered and the city's most wanted is the number one suspect, so she goes after him. The book flips back and forth from his point of view to hers. It's really cool. And it's a trilogy *dances*

I've read the mortal instruments series (i know not a typical guys book, but I read books as if they are a film, picturing it as if I had filmed it, and it seems like a pretty cool film ) a quick read that I would recommend, if you like the idea of a completely different take on powers and things. Hero.com and Villain.net
