Ermm, a cool book is "Other Side of the Island" another dystopian fiction... kind of reminded me of the Giver? Pretty good, but I do believe Divergent is better XD
Another good one: if you liked the Alice in Wonderland story (and even if you didn't I guess, since I never liked it)- the Looking Glass Wars Trilogy. I loved those- super good choice!

I recommend the Dollanganger series by VC Andrews. It's a realistic fiction about the problems that these four kids go through when their dad dies. It's super sad, but damn, it's a good read.

OMG I HAVE THE LOOKING GLASS WARS. I need to read the rest of them, though. I think I read the second, but I need to find them and buy them. I absolutely LOVED the first one. <3
And The Other Side of the Island looks really interesting. Dystopias <3
@james: Are those the titles of the books? Hero.com and Villain.net? That sounds really cool

@courtney: there the names of each series. They run along side each other and cross over at one point which is cool. Really easy reads as well, i read each one within a day .

OOH, sounds good. More books for my 250-book long to-read list. YAYYY. <<I actually am happy though ) @courtney: They are all really good... the first one hooked me too, I got it randomly as a gift, but it was soo good. OOH. Here's another recommendation- UN LUN DUN. It's so good, but it's just really wierd. It's fantasy, but not with fairies and goblins and witches and kings type of fantasy... it's hard to describe but it's so good. I've been trying to get my friends to read it forever, but it's never really happened, which is sad, because it was lovely. >>I should reread it...

@james: omg that's awesome. I love books that connect to each other. I'll have to check those out on goodreads and see what I think of the plot. But they sound interesting enough!
@michelle: Yeah, I got the first one randomly as a gift as well. A friend of mine in grade nine had moved away, then came back to visit for the Xmas break and he gave it to me as a gift. One of the best gifts I've gotten.
I'll have to check out Un Lun Dun as well.

crappp what was that book called... The Forest of Hands and Teeth! That was good it's a trilogy I guess now? haven't read the other two yet because I didn't know they existed! they must have come out after I read the first. About some weird gated society thing. can't remember much else because I read it probably three years ago. Also, just read Matched. That was pretty good. Dystopian. Not as good as divergent, but worth reading. Theres a sequel but haven't read it yet.

@courtney: I finished "Legend" it was good. It was really a new look for dystopian books.
@james: I saw Hero.com and Villian.net on good reads. OMG, It was so funny when I saw it (in a good way) because it's like taking on parodies? You know like the one with Angels and Demons but with powers and such. It's a definitely read.
@michelle: Checking that one out. I like weird books, I mean what's in them.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Th1rteen R3osons Why, The Postmortal, Ready Player One, The Pledge, Legend, Wither. (Just books I've read for the past few days.)
CURRENTLY READING/TO-READ: City of Ashes and Delirium
